Finance is integral to all business yet is still an industry itself as evidenced by stock exchanges and other financial institutions. As businesses face increasing mergers and acquisitions and financial disasters, we will prepare you to become knowledgeable leaders in this very exciting environment.

Undergraduate options

The University of Colorado Denver Business School offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration where you may specialize in a variety of areas of emphasis. Choose the Financial Management,  Information Systems or The Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) option to aid a career in finance.

Bard Center for Entrepreneurship 

J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities

The J.P. Morgan Center for Commodities is the first center of its kind focused on research and education in the broad range of commodities including agriculture, energy, and minerals.

Graduate Options

MS in Finance

The MS in finance at the Business School is a nationally respected graduate finance program. You will get in-depth knowledge and the analytical skills you need for a career as a financial manager or finance specialist. This degree also gives you excellent preparation for the CFA, and provides you with the specialized knowledge that will help you to advance professionally.

MBA

In the Professional MBA program you may add a specialization in Finance

    Get your MBA with the finance specialization and gain skills in different financial functional areas including corporate, investments, and financial institutions. You get the tools and skill sets you need for finance decision making and investment.

Dual MBA and MS Finance degree

If you want both your MS in Finance and the career advantages of an MBA's broad knowledge base consider getting both through the Business School's Dual MS/MBA.

Dual MS in Finance and MA in Economics

Get your degree in both Economics and Finance. The Business School has teamed up with the Department of Economics to offer this dual degree.

Take your Graduate School of Banking Certificate and turn it into a Masters in Finance

If you have finished course work with the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado you can easily add a MS in Finance or an MBA degree. The GSBC certificate program completes a portion of your MS in Finance or MBA degree so you effectively have a head start.​​
