Their projects foster economic viability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility in under-served communities - and a new vision for their future. iCAST's mission is “to provide economic, environmental, and social benefits to economically disadvantaged individuals and communities; and to provide education and training that builds local capacity.” They partner with organizations to help local citizens in the community development process. And offer a unique service learning model for students to receive credit for working on these real-world projects. iCAST focus is building healthier communities and their impact is a healthier planet.

The University of Colorado Denver,
Metropolitan State College of Denver, and Community College of Denver are
collaborating this spring to bring you our inaugural Career and Internship
Day. This IS NOT a career fair. Instead, the day will consist of employer-sponsored workshops and a keynote luncheon with the goal of exposing our combined Auraria student body to the strategic ways
they can “land their dream job in a tough economy.” Employers will have
recruiters available to speak with you during each of the several workshops and
luncheon.
Career Day Format
The career event will include

- Workshop Session #1 (3 Concurrent Sessions)
