Apply Now - Undergraduate Teacher Education

Current Students

Thank you for your interest in CU Denver's undergraduate Teacher Education program! You may complete your University of Colorado degree, including licensure within a 4-year graduation plan, but you'll need to declare your intention to teach early in your college career and meet regularly with your advisor. We ask that you complete the following steps in preparing to apply for the program as soon as possible.

Schedule an individual meeting with your CLAS Education advisor or call 303-556-2555.

Admission to the Teacher Education program is separate from admission to CU Denver. Once you are already admitted to CU Denver and have met with Stephanie Hamington, CLAS Education Advisor, she will indicate when it is the appropriate time for you to apply to the Teacher Education program based on your 4-year degree plan. We require all undergraduates to have a GPA of 2.75 or higher.
