As our population demographics continue to diversify, are you ready to provide a culturally-responsive counseling experience? If you're interested in working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds to advance and sustain their personal growth, this may be an excellent program for you. In this rigorous program, you'll be encouraged to develop self-awareness of your unique culture and background, as well as awareness of many other cultures. You'll take classes that are designed to improve empathy and understanding of issues relating to ethnicity, race, spirituality, gender, sexuality and ageism. We're looking for students who want to embody integrity and culturally-sensitive ethics in the professional practice and who are committed to life-long learning, self-care and professional development.
This CACREP-accredited master's specialization is a rigorous program that includes coursework, practicum and internships designed to prepare you for state licensure eligibility.
