Teacher Leadership: Professional Learning & Technology Certificate
Professional roles in education are rapidly changing as learners' needs evolve. This graduate certificate brings together faculty and students seeking to support working educators in ongoing professional development and learning activities, helping them become more effective and productive in their jobs. Focus is on the professional development needs of K12 teachers and those of higher educators and workplace learners. Applying principles of adult learning, instructional design, and change leadership, this certificate uses a variety of methods (mentoring, coaching, site-based communities, e-learning resources, workshops) to support professional growth and accountability in ways that meet the needs of the future's adult workplace learners.
The certificate consists of three courses and each course is worth three graduate credit hours.
All courses are three graduate credit hours. Tuition is $359.50/credit, plus student fees of $10/credit, plus $100 online course fee, for a total of $1,208.50/course.
