Extended Learning Series

The Wirth Chair Extended Learning Trips are an opportunity for educators, students, and community, business, and nonprofit leaders, to gain an in-depth look at energy and sustainability issues internationally.

Each trip targets a particular region or location where there are considerable lessons to be learned about issues and solutions related to energy and sustainability. Trips are open to the public but capped at small numbers of participants to allow for deep engagement and learning.

The next trip will be to Hawai'i in July 2016. For a tentative itinerary, costs and additional information, click on the link in the lefthand navigation.

Click on the 'Past Extended Learning Trips' link for information about past trips to Denmark (2015) and East Africa (2014).
