Professors Who Shape Policy and Solve Problems
Our faculty do not live in an ivory tower. At the CU Denver School of Public Affairs, students work directly in the community with professors who are doing research and shaping public policy. They help find solutions to issues in Colorado and beyond.
Denver is a thriving urban environment where our faculty and students are able to work on issues that affect the entire nation, such as education reform, fracking, legalized marijuana, urban sustainability and water policy.

Five research centers are affiliated with the School of Public Affairs Institute. Each center provides applied research and evaluation to improve decision-making and policy for government leaders, program managers, and opinion leaders in Colorado, the Rocky Mountain Region, and across the United States.
