The School of Public Affairs Institute serves as an intersection between the knowledge and experience of the school and community partners. It supports our faculty and students in reaching outside the classroom to make real impacts on communities and helps infuse community expertise into the academic setting. The Institute is the hub for the research centers, leadership development programs and community events.
The School of Public Affairs houses several, significant leadership programs including the Denver Community Leadership Forum, Rocky Mountain Leadership Program, Network Leadership Training Academy, Colorado Education Fellows Policy Program, and Colorado's only Certified Public Manager Program. More information about these programs, along with contact information, is available in the menu to the left.
The School of Public Affairs and the Institute host more than 100 events each year featuring distinguished practitioners, community leaders and politicians. The First Friday Breakfast, hosted by the Institute, is the School's signature monthly event focused on public affairs issues of today.
Visit the SPA events page for upcoming events and other information, including how to sponsor a First Friday Breakfast.
