Q: Can we serve alcohol at an event?

A: The University’s alcohol policy is complicated, but the general rule is that alcohol is not permitted on university property.  It is also difficult to use university funds to purchase alcohol off campus.  The easiest way to have alcohol at your event is to hold the event off campus in a facility with a liquor license and to offer a cash bar.  Risk Management must sign off on events where alcohol will be served, cash bar or otherwise.  If you would like more information about serving alcohol at an event, please email
Q: Who manages the content on the Television in the SPA lobby?

A: Event content is managed by Sarah Kirschner.  All other content is managed by Gabrielle Sawusch.
Q: I don’t have enough information yet to fill out the SPA Events Form.  What should I do?

A: Set up an appointment to meet with Sarah Kirschner, SPA's event coordinator, and she will assist with the process.
