The Environmental Affairs Working Group (EWAG) brings together faculty, staff, current and prospective students, and alumni of the University of Colorado at Denver School of Public Affairs (SPA) who share a common concern for and interest in the quality of the environment we share, and for which we have a duty of care. Since Environmental Affairs is one of SPA’s signature areas of expertise, this website highlights SPA’s environmentally related coursework, faculty and student research, and alumni activities.
It is also provides a resource tool for the school’s collaborative partners and for employers who are interested in finding talented individuals to add to their workforce. Additonally, this site provides information on upcoming SPA events and highlight blogs written by our faculty, students, and alumni. The site can help prospective applicants to one of SPA’s degree programs can examine our range of activities, to help you decide whether you wish to join the SPA Environmental Affairs community of scholars and working professionals.
Finally, students already in one of the degree programs at SPA (especially those in the program concentration in Environmental Policy, Management, and Law and in the PhD program) can use this site for advising and for degree planning purposes.
To current and prospective students:
The Environmental Affairs Working Group provides you with a one-stop-shop to learn about SPA’s environmental concentrations and individual course offerings. It also provides a list of key governmental and nongovernmental players in the environmental arena where you might do internships or advanced seminar projects. Lastly, it highlights faculty research that might need your help!
