Biography
Jen Ebel has a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies, with a minor in Geography, from the University of Kansas. Jen is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Colorado Denver.
Before beginning the MPA program, Jen was the Transportation Planner for the City of Naperville, Illinois. She coordinated rail, bus, and bicycle transportation planning for the city, led the establishment of the city’s fourth park-n-ride, and developed performance measures and benchmarks used to evaluate the city’s bus system.
Additionally, Jen gained professional experience as a Transportation Planner at the regional level working for the North Central Texas Council of Governments. In this position, Jen focused on bicycle and pedestrian initiatives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area where she helped expand bicycle and pedestrian planning and evaluated funding opportunities.
