Avi Tropper worked as a teacher and school supervisor
in New York City for nine years, along with stints on the Financial Strategies
and School Turnaround teams at the New York City Department of Education
central office. He taught courses in literacy, assessment, and behavior
management as an adjunct professor at local universities. He moved to
Denver to serve as founding principal of the new Northfield High School. His
research interests include education policy and political decision-making.
