Leigh Espy

Biography


Leigh D. Espy recently became the Project Manager for a multiple plans amendment effort for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Colorado and Utah. She stepped away from her former position with the BLM as the Colorado Deputy State Director for Resources and Fire Management to take on this role. Prior to joining the BLM in Colorado, she worked for NOAA in the Florida Keys, Seattle, WA and Silver Spring, MD. She also worked for WA Department of Natural Resources in aquatic lands management for several years between stints with NOAA. Leigh has a Masters of Marine Affairs (MMA) from the University of Washington, School of Marine Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. In what passes for free time she enjoys re-sale shopping, reading, and visiting with friends and family – including her 17 nieces and nephews and 1 fairy goddaughter.
