Emily Kingsley recently joined the Center on Domestic Violence as the project coordinator. Previously, Emily worked as an associate program coordinator at the Van Heyst Group in Boulder Colorado where she planned, researched, and implemented program for multi-national forums involving global thought leaders and senior executives. She has also worked as an intake legal assistant for Colorado Legal Services where she helped obtain legal representation for low income Coloradans. Emily holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a double minor in philosophy and ethnic studies from the University of Colorado Denver and is also a licensed paralegal. While in college, she chaired the Hunger and Homelessness Campaign for the UCD student chapter of Co-PIRG as well as actively participated in other student organizations such as the New Voters Project and the University of Colorado Denver Pre-Law Society.
