Parker Baxter is Senior Legal Analyst at the Center on Reinventing Public Education, housed at the University of Washington-Bothell. Previously, he was Director of Charter Schools for the Denver Public Schools, and an aide to Senator Edward Kennedy on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. He is a former special education teacher and alumnus of Teach for America. Parker received his JD from New York University School of Law and a master’s degree in public management and policy from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.
