Ron Secrist became President of Boulder Community Hospital Foundation in 2002. Prior to joining the non-profit community hospital, Ron was in city management, serving four cities, over a 29-year professional career.
Ron served as Boulder’s City Manager from 1998-2002. He also was city manager in Blacksburg, Virginia, and was assistant city manager in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Ron began his public service career in Champaign, Illinois.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, Ron grew up in Florida, attending the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor’s degree. He also holds a Master’s degree from Indiana University.
