Bio: Lisa Dale has worked in the field of forestry policy for more than 10 years. She completed her Ph.D. in environmental policy from Colorado State University in 2003, after conducting her dissertation research on forest-dependent communities in Ethiopia. She accepted a post-doctoral research position with The Wilderness Society, turning her attention to domestic forestry policy. From 2005-2006, she worked as the Governmental Affairs Director for the Western Forestry Leadership Coalition, a State-Federal coalition of forest managers across the West. Currently, she is a full-time instructor at the University of Denver where she teaches courses in Political Science and environmental policy; she also maintains an active consulting business, and teaches graduate students at the University of Colorado’s School of Public Affairs during the summers.
