John Taylor
John “Chip” Taylor serves as the Executive Director for Colorado Counties, Incorporated, in Denver. During his tenure with CCI, he has served as Director of Legislative Affairs and has also had primary responsibility for county issues relating to public finance and tax policy; transportation and telecommunications; local government structure and operations; and land use. Prior to beginning work for CCI, Mr. Taylor served as an attorney for the Office of Legislative Legal Services, providing bill drafting and other legal services to the General Assembly. He also served as the Ouray County administrator in 1998 and 1999.
