Bob is Director of Organization Development at Saunders Construction and has been a construction project manager/owner’s representative. He has over 20+ years of senior management experience in the public sector including, budget director, executive director for the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, acting city manager, deputy city manager for the city of Arvada, Colorado. He was president of Onnit! LLC a management consulting business. He has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in finance and public policy. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy from the University of Colorado. He is certified from the Project Management Institute as a “Project Management Professional” and holds a Master Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. He has attended the “Rocky Mountain Program Center for the Improvement of Public Management and the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government Harvard University. He has written several articles published in various professional journals. He is currently writing a book Paradise in Porksville. He has been a public speaker on a variety of topics regionally and nationally. He did a public management exchange with local government in Russia following the fall of communism. He has attended various training seminars and workshops including but not limited to leadership, communications, mediations, technology and public finance. He has performed in theater and on television. He thinks of himself as an “organizational catalyst”. He enjoys golf, down hill skiing and God’s country the Colorado mountains.
