Robin has a B.S. in Mathematics/Computer Science from Pepperdine University and a M.S. in Management from University of Denver Daniels College of Business.
Robin has 20 years of experience as a founder, entrepreneur and business development executive in the technology industry. In addition to her doctoral studies Robin works as a mentor and advisor to numerous technology start-ups. She has participated on the Colorado Photonics industry board, the University of Denver Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering advisory board, and the Colorado Nanotechnology Alliance technology transfer committee.
Robin is the recipient of the 2009 Bayh-Dole Public Policy Fellowship award. In addition, she is one of 10 selected doctoral student researchers in the U.S. and in Europe on a 3-year NSF-funded research project, the Socio-Technical Integration Research (STIR) program at Arizona State University Center for Nanotechnology in Society.
She was an invited Presenter at the University of Tampere, Finland Public Management Colloquium in June, 2009 where she presented a research paper on "Responsible Innovation: A Public Management Comparative Between Finland and the U.S. using Public Values Mapping".
