George Middlemist has worked for Colorado Higher Education for nearyly 14 years. Prior to that George served at the Colorado State Auditor's Office and worked in the private sector. He earned his bachelor's degree in Accounting at Oklahoma State University and his master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Colorado State University. George is currently the Associate Vice President of Administration and Finance and Controller for Metropolitan State College of Denver. Prior to this position, he served as the college's Interim Vice President of Information Technology, Controller, and Director of Student Accounts. George is married to Catherine Middlemist and has two children, Cassie and Robert. When not studying or working, he spends as much time as he can with his family.
