Kerry is a PhD candidate at the School of Public Affairs (SPA).
Kerry received a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Social Change and Development (emphasis in Law and Justice Studies) and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in 2007. She then received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Colorado Denver (UCD)’s SPA, in 2010, where she was awarding as the MPA Outstanding Student of the Spring 2010 semester. She also was inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha (the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration) in that year, and currently serves as the Chapter President. Her practical experience includes working for two cities in Colorado with program and policy implementation objectives, as well as a data analyst for a local nonprofit consulting firm.
