 BIOGRAPHY

 

B. Kathleen Gallagher's interest in policy and the arts and nonprofit management derive from an education that includes a BA in Art and Architectural Histories from the College of the Holy Cross, an MBA from the University of Illinois, with emphases in marketing and arts management, a certificate in Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts at George Washington University, and an MA in Modern Art, Connoisseurship, and the Art Market from Christie's Education.  Her academic training is complemented by professional experience at the Smithsonian Institution, Butterfield's, and Sotheby's, as well as volunteer service and leadership.
