Program Overview

​The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) supported Industrial Hygiene Training Program within the Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC) is administrated in the Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences (ERHS) at Colorado State University.  The program offers both a Master of Science (MS) degree and a doctoral degree (PhD).  The program is ABET accredited.


Graduate research assistantships are available on a competitive basis to qualified students. The number of assistantships may vary from year to year depending on the level of research funding.


Applications may be submitted at any time for admission to a graduate degree (MS, Ph.D.) program; thus the admissions cycle is a rolling admissions process. Click here for additional information on the application process.
