
The MAP ERC training program in ergonomics is developing a reputation as a strong partner for local businesses. By connecting graduate students in ergonomics with real workplaces in the region, Dr. Rosecrance helps his trainees gain valuable "real world" experience as ergonomists. In the process, Dr. Rosecrance and his students help businesses reduce workplace health and safety hazards.
While she was working toward her doctoral dissertation, Dr. Angela Dartt worked with New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins. By the end of her work, she had a list of recommendations that the brewery could implement to reduce their employees' risk. In the process, Dr. Dartt honed her skills as a researcher and contributed meaningful work in the area of ergonomic exposure assessment.
