Lee S. Newman, M.D., M.A., FCCP, FACOEM

Director

Dr. Newman is the founding Director of the NIOSH-funded Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC). Dr. Newman is a Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health and a Professor of Epidemiology in the Colorado School of Public Health. He is also Professor of Medicine in the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Division of Pulmonary Science and Critical Care Medicine, in the School of Medicine, University of Colorado Denver.

Stephen J. Reynolds, Ph.D, C.I.H, FAIHA

Deputy Director

Dr. Reynolds is the Deputy Director and the Industrial Hygiene Program Director of the MAP ERC. Dr. Reynolds is the Professor and Head of the Occupational and Environmental Hygiene Section of the Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences, Colorado State University. He is Direcotr of the CDC/NIOSH funded High Plains Intermountain Center for Agricultrual Health and Safety, in addition to serving on the MAP ERC board.

David Gilkey, Ph.D, D.C., C.P.E.

Continuing Education Director

Dr. David Gilkey is an Associate Professor and the Director of Undergraduate Education in the Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences at Colorado State University. He is a teacher and frequent lecturer on many environmental and occupational health and safety topics. Dr. Gilkey is a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). He also provides service as the Assistant Director of Continuing Education at CSU for the NIOSH funded Mountain And Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC).

Kenneth Scott, MPH

Outreach Director

Ken grew up in Denver and went to graduate school in Seattle, Washington. He helps support several of the ERC Research to Practice projects. In particular, he's working on a project related to the aging workforce.

Dominic Martinez, BA

Diversity Director

Dominic Martinez serves as the Diversity Director for MAP ERC. He is currently the Director of the Anschutz Medical Campus Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Colorado Denver..

Liliana Tenney, MPH

Deputy Director, Center for Worker Health & Environment

Lili received her Masters of Public Health Degree from the Colorado School of Public Health. Her research interests include workplace wellness programs, community and behavioral health. She currently leads the Colorado Health Links program in the Center for Worker Health and Environment.  Before pursuing her MPH and working at the Mountain and Plains ERC, Lili developed a strong background in marketing, business development and social media with her work in event production, health promotion and wellness.

Kaylan Stinson, MSPH

Kaylan received her Masters of Science in Public Health Degree from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.   She has been supporting research and service projects with the Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center since 2006 and has a strong interest in occupational health surveillance.

Lyndsay K. Krisher

Lyndsay is a current MPH candidate at the Colorado school of Public Health with a focus on Environmental and Occupational Health. She provides administrative and research support in several of the Center's programs and activities. Her current interests include worksite wellness, food safety and addressing health disparities.

Dianne R. Metcalf, M.D., Ph.D

Dr. Metcalf received her M.D./Ph.D. at the University of Colorado and completed her Internal Medicine Training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. She is currently involved in the National Supplemental Screening Program for former Department of Energy workers, and has research interests in workplace wellness and health promotion.
