At the Latino Research & Policy Center, we're empowering students in Latino health and health policy.
We study health disparities affecting Latino communities in Colorado, the United States, and beyond.
We train students to identify important gaps in Latino public health issues and implement successful interventions.
We collaborate with community organizations, academic institutions, and elected officials to change policies.
This scholarship is supported by the National Institutes of Health’s Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Consortium to Advance Health Equity and Researcher Diversity (AIM-AHEAD). It was created to help integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) into the Certificate in Latino Health program by building connections between students and potential mentors working in AI/ML and offering electives to enhance AI/ML skills.
Thanks to AIM-AHED funding, our center offers this scholarship for students to enroll in the Certificate in Latino Health.
