The Latino Research & Policy Center (LRPC) is part of the
Department of Community and Behavioral Health at the Colorado
School of Public Health. Our goals are: to work together with students to reduce the disparities
that affect Latino communities; to increase collaborative partnerships
with community-based organizations, academic institutions, and
state/city elected officials; and to work toward eliminating the health
and education disparities affecting Latino communities in Denver, in
Colorado, and beyond.
Research
We study health disparities affecting Latino communities in Colorado, the United States, and beyond.
Education
We train students to identify important gaps in Latino public health issues and implement successful interventions.
Policy
We collaborate with community organizations, academic institutions, and elected officials to change policies.
