As the communications and marketing assistant for the Center for Health, Work & Environment and the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, Amanda works to highlight the Center’s and department’s research, promote continuing education, publicize events, and develop content to disseminate to diverse audiences. Prior to joining the Colorado School of Public Health, Amanda worked with the corporate marketing and digital creative teams at a healthcare public relations firm. She has experience in lead generation, email marketing, content creation, template design, and photography.
Amanda enjoys pursuing anything creative and unearthed a passion for design as the layout designer for a travel magazine. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a Certificate in Digital Studies from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Her academic and professional experiences center around a desire to build connections between people and ideas through purposeful design and strategic communications. She has an interest in how diverse audiences engage with their physical and digital environments and how to tailor messaging to tell the stories that have impact.
