Kelsey Brown is a researcher at the Center for Health, Work & Environment and a doctoral student at the Colorado School of Public Health. Currently, she conducts research on nature and outdoor recreation on worker health, as well as small employer engagement in chronic and cardiovascular disease prevention and management programs. Her previous work includes managing a state-wide cancer screening study at the University of California San Diego, and an examination of employers’ willingness and readiness to implement workplace accommodations for cancer survivors at the Center for Health, Work & Environment. She has additional experience in implementation science and behavior change using cognitive psychology and behavioral economics approaches. She spends her free time hiking, camping, and traveling.
