Description: Quality Improvement research presents a unique set of statistical methods when it comes to analyzing its data. During this two hour workshop, the basic statistical methods used on QI data will be presented, as well as an overview of major statistical concepts (p-values, hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, etc.). Breakout sessions will give the attendees an opportunity to design a hypothetical QI research project, and discuss the methods they could use on this project. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the statistical methods used in QI research, as well as the ability to better understand and communicate with the analyst/biostatistician working on their data.
This workshop will be taught by Eleanor Cotton.
