TRC Research

One of the primary missions of the Tribal Early Childhood Research Center is to conduct research in partnership with tribal early childhood programs and communities to address critical gaps in research and practice.  The Tribal Early Childhood Communities of Learning serve as a forum for bringing together academic researchers and tribal early childhood program leaders to carry out this research in ways that are both scientifically- and culturally-grounded.  The Tribal Early Childhood Research Center has leveraged the close connections among researchers, tribal partners, and others to engage in research opportunities beyond the Steering Committees – including in planning for the first national study of tribal Head Start and in developing a roadmap for evaluation and research with tribal communities.  Please read more about the Tribal Early Childhood Research Center’s specific research projects by clicking on the tabs in the menu to the left.
