NCRE Student Scholars Mentor Interest Form

At the NCRE 2019 conference, we will involve students in an intentional way, explicitly connecting them with NCRE members who can provide time-limited mentorship on conducting research with Native children and adolescents and career development. NCRE Student Scholars will receive travel support to attend the conference, be paired with a senior NCRE faculty member for targeted mentorship, be actively involved in conference presentations and activities, and make connections with the broader NCRE membership. Up to four NCRE Student Scholars will be accepted. A full description of the NCRE Student Scholar program can be found on the NCRE Conference 2019 | Student Scholars Application .

The success of NCRE Student Scholars program will depend on the availability of NCRE  members to serve as mentors. • Attend the NCRE poster symposium to review student posters and participate in symposium discussion
  • Meet students for one-on-one discussion of research interests and career goals
