Sheria Robinson-Lane


Sheria G. Robinson-Lane PhD, RN is a post-doctoral fellow in the Advanced Rehabilitation Research Training (ARRT) Program in Community Living and Participation at the University of Michigan’s School of Medicine. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Dr. Robinson-Lane was a pre-doctoral trainee at the Institute of Gerontology at Wayne State University where she completed a PhD in Nursing and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology. Dr. Robinson-Lane is interested in using mixed methods to study the adaptive coping strategies used by older adults and their caregivers to manage pain and disability. Her current work is focused on evaluating the effects of obesity on coping, pain, and function, within an older adult population.
