Mi Rosie Jahng

Rosie Jahng is the assistant professor in the Department of Communication. She holds a PhD in Journalism from the University of Missouri, MA from the University of Texas-Austin (Journalism), and Seoul National University (Communication) and her BA from Sookmyung Women’s University in South Korea. Her research interests include digital media, crisis management, activism, health and science communication. She has published articles in Public Relations Review, Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, Journal of International Communication, and #ISOJ Journal. Prior to joining Wayne State, she has taught public relations and media effects at Hope College. She currently serves as the faculty advisor for the graduate students PRSSA at Wayne State.
