Lauren Parker

Lauren J. Parker, PhD, MPH is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Health, Behavior, and Society at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research interest examines how social and psychosocial factors impact disparities in men’s health behavior and health service use across the life course. She is particularly interested in leveraging research findings with health initiatives to aid in the formation of policies and interventions to improve Black men’s health. She earned her MPH and dual-titled PhD in Health Promotion/Gerontology from Purdue University, and her BA in Sociology from Hampton University. ​
