Biography:
Elaine Morrato, DrPH MPH CPH has over 20 years of experience in health services research with a focus on the diffusion and clinical translation of pharmaceutical innovation and policy. She is currently a member of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committee which advises the FDA on issues of risk management implementation. Dr. Morrato has served on the NIH CER Key Function Committee and its Dissemination and Implementation Research Working Group since 2010. She is also the Training and Education Leader for the University of Colorado’s AHRQ-funded Center for Research in Implementation Science and Prevention which is focused on increasing the use of preventive health services within primary care settings. Previously, Dr. Morrato was a technical brand manager in the pharmaceutical industry where she directed prescription and over-the-counter drug development programs to promote the adoption of new medicines and indications.
