Sara Miller is currently the Executive Director of the Colorado Foundation for Public Health and the Environment a non-profit organization. She has led efforts over her career to enhancement, planning, and implementation of public health related programmatic and surveillance activities and strategies for Colorado. Particular expertise is focused on identification of fiscal and administrative challenges and generating solutions for both community based organizations and large governmental organizations. Ms. Miller has led the development of state chronic disease plans, working with multiple partner organizations, outlining goals, strategies, and activities increase and maintain momentum in activities and programs in the state. Ms. Miller spearheads training and capacity building, public and professional education, and development of community based prevention and control projects throughout Colorado. Ms. Miller has over 15 years of experience in program development, implementation and grant writing in the public and non-profit sectors. She also owns a private consulting firm, Otowi Group, which consults with public, private and non-profit organizations in the areas of program development and administration, program evaluation, and grant writing.
