The Department of Environmental & Occupational Health at the Colorado School of Public Health provides master's-level training leading to a Master of Public Health in Environmental & Occupational Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. The Colorado School of Public Health at Colorado State University also offers an MPH in Environmental & Occupational Health.  Additionally, the department provides physician training for the Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency program and supports the Public Health Sciences Certificate program.

Through the MPH and residency programs students gain a rich understanding of environmental and occupational health and prepare for careers in academia, community-based organizations, consulting, industry and government.

The Colorado School of Public Health offers the Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Colorado State University. 

The MPH program in environmental and occupational health integrates training in both environmental and occupational health and prepares graduates for a variety of careers in governmental and non-governmental agencies, health care settings, private industry and consulting, labor, and academia.

Occupational & Environmental Medicine Residency

The Occupational & Environmental Medicine (OEM) Residency Program at the Colorado School of Public Health is an ACGME accredited two-year training program that provides residents with the qualifications to meet the American Board of Preventive Medicine eligibility requirements for Board Certification in Occupational Medicine.

Established in 1992, our program strengths include outstanding clinical training particularly in pulmonary medicine and toxicology; epidemiologic and translational research opportunities; and integration with longstanding industrial hygiene. ergonomics, occupational health psychology and health physics programs through the NIOSH-funded Mountain and Plains Educational Research Center (MAP ERC).
