A public health degree focused on community and behavioral health trains students for careers in program planning, evaluation, and policy in public health agencies, health care delivery systems, community-based organizations, and academic settings.
The Department of Community and Behavioral Health offers two primary programs, the Master of Public Health and the Doctor of Public Health.
Department faculty are also heavily involved in the Master of Public Health-Community Health Education offered at the University of Northern Colorado, and various MPH focus areas at Colorado State University.

The Department is also affiliated with the University of Colorado Denver College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Health and Behavioral Sciences PhD program and supports the Certificate program in Public Health Sciences through course instruction and collaboration.
