  • NIH: RA-Related Auto-antibodies in Healthy FDR of RA Patients (7/05-6/11, co-investigator): To determine the association between epidemiologic exposures and the presence of RA-related autoantibodies in unaffected first degree relative of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
  • NIMH: Basic Clinical Molecular Neurobiology of Nicotinic Receptors in Schizophrenia (7/05-6/11, co-investigator): Translational study to enhance the basic molecular and neurobiological characterization of the role of the alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in the brain and its dysfunction in schizophrenia and to use emerging information about the developmental role of the receptor to further examine a new nicotinic agonist as an antipsychotic drug in schizophrenia.
