Nominations are now open for the school's community public health practice awards. Awardees will be announced at the Public Health in the Rockies conference, August 29-31, 2018.
To submit nominations for all of the annual public health awards that will be presented by the Colorado Public Health Association (CPHA) and the Public Health Nurses Association of Colorado (PHNAC), please visit CPHA's website.*

Nominations are open for the following Colorado School of Public Health Awards:
Community Preceptor Award for Excellence in Public Health Practice
This award recognizes a current or former community preceptor in the Rocky Mountain region who mentored a student(s) from the Colorado School of Public Health.
Excellence in Public Health Practice by an Individual
This award recognizes an individual outside of the Colorado School of Public Health who has significantly promoted and supported the efforts of the ColoradoSPH in meeting our mission, goals and objectives.
Excellence in Public Health Practice by an Organization
This award recognizes a public or private organization that has significantly promoted and supported the efforts of the Colorado School of Public Health in meeting our mission, goals and objectives.
Nominations from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners will be accepted and should include:
- A brief overview of the nominee’s contribution(s) to Public Health in the Rocky Mountain Region, and;
- A letter of support from the community agency/partner that addresses his or her contribution(s).*
