The Health Kids Colorado Survey is conducted by the University of Colorado Denver and collects youth health and risk-related data around the state from a random sample of middle school and high school students in Fall of odd years.

​As a program coordinator, Ms. Weister is part of the team that maintains the Colorado Adult Population Sample Survey Research Registry (CAPS-SRR), and assists with survey development and distribution, and data processing. She also assists with general CEPEG administrative functions, not the least of which is Snack Fairy. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver School of Liberal Arts and Sciences with a BA in Anthropology. Prior to joining CEPEG she was a member of the Amendment 35 Program Evaluation Group (APEG), assisting in the development of an evaluation protocol for recipients of grant funding for health programs across Colorado. She is a long-time resident of Colorado and has no plans to ever live anywhere else—except maybe Hawaii during the winter months.
