Ms. Brown is assisting with the evaluation of the Hospital Smoking Cessation Systems project. She completed BS in Biochemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder, earned her MS in Epidemiology in August 2012 and is currently a doctoral student in the Epidemiology program at the Colorado School of Public Health (CSPH) with research interests in intentional injury. She served as Student Council President and CSPH Executive Council for the 2013-2014 school year. She has three years of experience in research and public health. Prior to joining CEPEG, she coordinated the Harmonizing Child Injury Research project for the Pediatric Injury Prevention Education and Research (PIPER) and was a research assistant at the Barbara Davis Center studying complications in type 1 diabetes. She has also worked on community needs assessments for the Center for Public Health Practice. In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, watching Gordon Ramsey reality shows, and playing with her cat.
