How to Apply

Our Office of Academic & Student Affairs team is happy to help you navigate the application process. Most applicants will use SOPHAS – The Centralized Application Service for Public Health to apply to our school. However, because application requirements vary by program, you may need to fill out and submit some additional supplementary documents.

No GRE required

As of October 1, 2019, the GRE test is no longer required for admission to the Master of Public Health (MPH) and Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) programs. As of August 15, 2021, the GRE is no longer required for admission to the Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programs. Please review additional details on the applicant page(s) for your program(s) of interest.

Application costs


The cost for a SOPHAS applications is $145 for the first school or program to which you apply. Any additional schools or programs you choose to apply to will cost $55 per designation.​
