The Department is proud of the calibre of its students, many of whom receive financial support as Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Research Assistants (RAs). TAs and RAs work part-time to earn monthly stipends. RAs also receive tuition support.
Our student directory contains a listing of names and email addresses for students enrolled as of the Fall 2016 term. Two students each year volunteer to serve as student representatives. They assist in the communication between students and faculty, and are available to answer questions from both current and prospective students. The Department honors outstanding students in its MS and PhD programs at the end of each academic year. In addition to certificates for their portfolios, winners receive cash awards of $500 each. Please view our Biostatistics Student Awards for details and names of past awardees.
