Located in Greeley, the University of Northern Colorado has more than 12,200 students, both undergraduate and graduate, and encompasses the "traditional" campus environment with smaller cohorts and class sizes that foster faculty relationships including mentoring, advising and professional networking opportunities.
The Colorado School of Public Health @ UNC has a cohort of 30 students annually who are pursuing their graduate degree in various concentrations. Our program at UNC offers smaller class sizes and a more personal experience with classmates and faculty.
ColoradoSPH @ UNC offers flexible schedule options including: evening, online, hybrid, and the ability to be employed part-time/full-time while pursuing your MPH. Because of this flexibility, more than 80 percent of our students are working full-time or part-time while pursuing their degree at UNC.
Our core courses in our MPH programs at ColoradoSPH @ UNC fulfill the requirements needed for our graduates to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist Exam (CHES) from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC).
ColoradoSPH @ UNC offers a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in three concentration areas: Community Health Education, Global Health and Community Health Education, and Healthy Aging and Community Health Education as well as a Certificate in Public Health Sciences. These programs prepare students to work effectively with diverse communities to identify needs and strengths, as well as develop healthy individuals and communities.
