Most people don't understand what public health is, much less how it impacts their daily lives. The "This is Public Health" campaign was designed to let people know that public health affects them on a daily basis.
Upload a public health photo to Instagram and/or Facebook* (must be posted as a public photo) with the tags #ColoradoSPH and #ThisIsPublicHealth, and a sentence about why your photo depicts public health. First and second place winners will receive $50 and $25 REI gift cards (respectively), and third place will get a ColoradoSPH t-shirt!
The ColoradoSPH Public Health in Colorado Photo Contest ends at 5pm (MT) on Friday, October 31, 2014. Winners will be determined by the number of "likes" on Instagram OR Facebook* for their photo, and will be notified via ColoradoSPH's social media pages on Nov. 3, 2014. Photos MUST be public and include the tag #ColoradoSPH to qualify.
*Please post the photo to our Facebook page publicly so we ensure we see it: www.facebook.com/ColoradoSPH

Their expertise spans diabetes, environmental health, genetic epidemiology, global health, and STD prevention among other important issues. Search for an expert then contact the school for assistance working with a faculty or research expert.
