Under the auspices of the Colorado Alliance for Minority Participation Bridge to the Doctorate Program, funding is available to support 12 LSAMP fellows. The award provides a $30,000 annual stipend plus tuition reimbursement for two years, after which students are fully supported by their graduate program.
Scholars can apply to STEM PhD graduate programs at CU Denver / Anschutz Medical Campus, including Mathematical and Statistical Sciences, Engineering and Applied Sciences, Computer Science and Information Systems, Bioengineering, Integrative & Systems Biology, and Biomedical Sciences.
(APPLICATIONS CLOSE DECEMBER 1ST FOR SOME PROGRAMS)
Starting October 1, 2013, application fees will be waived for LSAMP applicants. To waive the application fee, choose "pay by check" when the prompt occurs, but do not send a check. Rather, email Krystal Allen (krystal. firstname.lastname@example.org) to indicate that you are applying to the Bridge to the Doctorate program and wish to have your application fee waived. Applicants of interest will be invited to campus for personal interviews.
