The Graduate School has developed a submission, approval, and resource page for electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs). You may choose to submit either a paper or electronic copy of your final thesis or dissertation in PDF format. Regardless of submission format, theses and dissertations are subject to the specifications as outlined in the Style and Policy Manual for Thesis and Dissertations.
Additionally, while you choose to submit an electronic copy of your thesis to the Graduate School, your graduate program/department may continue to expect a paper copy(ies). Please consult your program/department for their requirements.
COSTS - Payment will be made via credit card in the ETD site.
Before you begin the submission process, we suggest that you review the PDF Conversion Guide provided by ProQuest to make sure that your thesis will be easily uploaded.
Additionally, part of the required documents for submission with your thesis is your Statement of Approval of theThesis form. This form is not a physical page of the thesis, but a form submitted with the final thesis/dissertation. The form may or may not be produced on thesis-quality paper, but it is a University document so care should be taken not to damage it prior to submission to the Graduate School (no staples, folding, white out…). Please note that the form requires original signatures of all members of your committee, not copies or stamped signatures.
Your thesis or dissertation must be submitted and approved by the published deadline in order to graduate in a given semester. Refer to additional information and dates provided on the campus specific webpages below.
Your feedback on the electronic submission process wil help to make this project a success. If you have ideas about how to make the process simple and the documentation clear, please Contact US.
